Story Behind Stephen

My first steps were humble — automating email replies in Microsoft Outlook for my eBook customers. At the time, I didn’t realize I was laying the foundation for a passion that would later lead me into WordPress development, backend systems, Chrome extensions, and custom automation workflows for small businesses and entrepreneurs alike.

Over the years, I’ve built websites for local businesses, crafted tools to streamline e-commerce operations, and launched plugins that generate blog content and images with AI. WPDevLocal, one of my most-loved creations, helps WordPress users install and run local sites with a single click — no complex server configs or tech hurdles. It’s tools like these that fuel my mission: to make the complex simple, and to help others do more with less time and stress.

But beyond the code, what drives me is problem-solving. I’m captivated by that “aha” moment — when a messy challenge transforms into a clean solution, when a tedious process becomes automatic, or when a client sees their idea come to life in a form they never imagined.
