Years Of Experience

Hi, I'm Stephen. I build things for the web.
My journey into tech began in 2000 when I was first introduced to HTML. This sparked my interest in digital creation, leading me to open an eBay store selling eBooks. Eager to improve customer experience, I taught myself to use Microsoft Outlook as a makeshift autoresponder—programming it to scan subject lines and automatically send thank you messages with download links.
As my skills grew, I started building WordPress sites for local businesses, which opened doors to deeper technical learning. Over time, I’ve expanded into backend development, automation, and plugin creation—experiences that have shaped my approach to problem-solving and formed the foundation of my technical knowledge today.
Why I Love What I Do
What drives me isn’t just the code—it’s solving real problems for real people. There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking a client’s challenge, breaking it down, and building something that makes their life easier. Whether it’s automating a tedious task or creating a website that perfectly captures someone’s vision, those “aha” moments make all the late nights worth it.
When I’m not at my computer, I’m spending time with my family, playing music, or exploring new hiking trails. These parts of my life bring balance and often inspire my most creative solutions.
